Spring Time In Contrast

Editor's Note: I chose those two pictures because they present a lovely contrast that we experience every year here in Seattle - the interplay between rain and sun, a symbiotic relationship with our local flora.

Lost In Translation - Buddy Elledge

Buddy's piece, "Lost In Translation" is moody, yet with a lovely green, gray and blue background contrasting with the telephone lines  (communications that we have lost in translation) with a bird that has returned to us from colder climates for the spring. 


 
Valdies' piece reminds me of what follows the rain - as this is flower season - we pluck them, admire them, and put them in vases in our homes. We would not have those flowers without the spring rain.
